Winged Spear

Spearhead made for use in medieval/renaissance combat. These spears were designed for use in the SCA cut and thrust polearm experiment (approved for use as of July 2024). Print with TPU for them to be flexible.

-No Supports Necessary

-Shave your shaft down to the specifications of the gage provided
--0.5" at the end, 7" long taper.

-Cut a 2.5" long piece of a 1/4" dowel rod and insert into the head.

-Fit the head and base together and secure with tape, glue, or heat

-Pull and twist down as tightly as you can to the shaft and tape in place.
--The shaft should go into the head about 1".

-Treat any cracks that form with heat.

-Its worth noting that I've been sparring with these without padding except on my head and hands.
