JEEP Oil Fill Cap Adapter

In my experience, funnels never seem to work just right. They fall over, spill oil, they're either too tall, too short or too skinny to fit right…

To combat this problem, I designed this adapter. Simply cut a standard (at least here in the US) 2-liter bottle in half and screw it in. Voila! You now have a custom funnel to fill up after your oil change! 

I also designed it so you can snugly and confidently fit a standard funnel (if you really want too…) None of that falling over and spilling stuff I mentioned earlier…

The specific vehicle this adapter was designed to fit is a 2005 Jeep Wrangler, 4.0L, but the oil cap thread fits more models than just mine. To determine vehicle compatibility with models beyond my '05 Wrangler, I looked up the part number for the Engine Oil Cap.

The following part number is for the Engine Oil Cap:

• MOPAR Part #: 4648831AA (Apparently replaced by Part #: 53010654AA)

After some digging, I found the following list of vehicles that share the same part number:

 - This adapter should work with all vehicle models listed above and will most likely work with others beyond those listed, but just in case please make sure to double-check your part number before you print to ensure compatibility with your model.
