Prusa MINI Enclosure Removable Door Hinge

I wanted to be able to quickly and easily remove/reattach the door without disassembly/assembly when I needed to access part of the printer while seeing what I'm doing, so I modelled this replacement hinge.

The model is for having the hinge mounted on the left side of the door, mirror the part in the slicer to have the hinge on the right. I printed with 0.2mm layer height in PLA and 15% gyroid fill, but it should probably work with other settings and materials.


Items needed for assembly:

• Two (2) of Prusa's “enclosure-hinge”
• Two (2) of the “door-hinge-removable” supplied here
• Four (4) of the 3×20mm steel dowels supplied with the MINI Enclosure
• Eight (8) of the M3×8mm screws supplied with the MINI Enclosure
• Eight (8) of the M3 nuts supplied with the MINI Enclosure

“door-hinge-removable” moves one dowel connection from the inside to the outside and adds a cutout to allow it to be removed.
