I wanted to replace the stock 40mm electronics fan with an 80mm noctua fan I had, but with the modified enclosure cover by JLS the fan wouldn't fit underneath the printer. This adds about 20mm to the bottom of the printer to allow for thicker replacement fans to fit, or allows for more airflow to the original 40mm fan and reduce a bit of noise.

I highly recommend replacing the stock fan, printing noise is a day and night difference.

To avoid vibrations or sliding around, use VHB/surface mount tape/sticky furniture pads to mount to the surface.

Printed in PETG, 20% infill, 3 bottom/4 top/3 wall loops (these settings or stronger should be fine, use your best judgement - the entire printer's weight is supported by these).

*I didn't finish printing the top layer for the ones in my photos due to a power issue, but there's no load on them anyways

I took inspiration from this model, but I didn't want to drill holes into my table, so just left it without holes. It is also a bit taller to accommodate the new fan.
