Baofeng/Quansheng Universal Mag or VHB Mount

This model was shared with me as a nice way to hang your Baofeng radios, or more specifically for me, your Meshtastic devices that have Baofeng clips (like those from https://www.printables.com/@AlleyCat) from the dash of your vehicle. I didn't like the thought of permanently mounting it with VHB tape on the dashes of my vehicles, so I modified UrcH's design to accommodate a 40mm metal plate that is commonly found in vehicle mag-mounts used for phones.

I didn't directly modify UrcH's design as I couldn't get Fusion to convert it from a mesh properly. So used his as a template for the measurements.

Update 10-13-2024: 

What about the Quansheng radios? I've updated the model to be universal to fit both Baofeng and Quansheng clips now. Just flip it around and you're ready to go!

Update 11-07-2024 (Inset mag-plate versions):

I was having trouble with the glue on the mag-plate versions not sticking to the outside of the print. I've added a modified version with an embedded mag-plate in the print. Print these laying on their back with the following settings:

• Layer height: .20mm
• Walls: 3
• Bottom layers: 9
• Support: yes
• Support blocker for the first at first 8 layers at least so the spot where the mag plate goes doesn't get filled in
• Pause at beginning of layer 8 to place the mag plate in the print and resume

• Use metal plate instead of VHB tape for mounting
• Adapt to fit Quansheng clip as well
• Universal or Baofeng ONLY, Quansheng ONLY models
