Thanks for checking out my insert. This is my first ever design, and I hope you like it. I taught myself Autodesk Fusion over the weekend because I was so frustrated with the lack of an insert provided by the game and didn't want a box full of bags.
This is for the standard version of the game with none of the upgraded components (some may fit, but I don't have them to confirm). It doesn't accommodate sleeved cards and should be stored horizontally.
Components are named with the number needed for the full print, i.e. Battle Tray x3 needs 3 copies printed. If a number isn't listed, just print one.
Print settings are whatever works for you. Heck, all my components were printed at .28 layer height so I could test fit quickly, and they turned out great. I print with brims. No supports needed. Overall filament needed should be around 1150-1200g.
The Battle Trays hold every monster in its own space (some bosses will need to share a space). First put in the Enemy Guide card, with the Action Cards, Standees and Initiative token on top.
The Battle Tray Top is used to store Scenario-Specific components, Plastic Bases, Wound Cards, NPC standee, etc. See picture. There are cutouts for the 2 Enemy Health Tracks and the Initiative Track.
All 4 Hero Trays will need to be utilized even if you aren't playing 4 Heroes. Just put components for a Hero in each, with Goal cards first, followed by action cards, standee and Shells. Trait trackers and Blockers, goal trackers and unlocked Quantum Upgrades can be put in either token holder.
Unused Hero Tray is for the remaining goal cards (and any other cards of this size) for unused characters and for their standees and initiate tokens etc. You will also place Quantum Upgrades in here.
Nexus Grids sit atop the Battle Trays to be flush with the rest of the components. The rest of the supplies, (hero boards, maps, rulebook) are placed on top. I recommend placing the map leveler on top of the unused PC tray to prevents trackers from getting out.
The rest should be pretty self explanatory. Pictures show how I use each component.
Note* I accidently printed 4 of the Hero Tray lefts in my photos. Functionally they are the same but the correct way allows for getting the trays out easier.
