MK4 & MK4S XLCD Schnellkuppler / Quick hitch
Description
PDFHier ein Modell-Satz um das XLCD Display des Prusa MK4 und MK4S schnell an den Drucker oder vom Drucker abzukoppeln und es Außerhalb vom Druckergehäuse zu verwenden.
Die Kabel habe ich mir alle neu erstellt um die originalen Kabel zu erhalten.
In den Bildern könnt Ihr erkennen wie ich das alles montiert habe. Der Schutzleiter hat über die Sub-D Gehäuse Kontakt.
Vom 25Pol Flachbandkabel bleibt eine Ader ungenutzt und kann nach dem verpressen der Sub-D Stecker abgetrennt werden. Das Verpressen habe ich in einem normalen Schraubstock gemacht. Um das Flachbandkabel am Display Halter sauber verlegt zu bekommen, habe ich es in 4 Stränge geteilt, da es dort sehr Eng zugeht.
Wenn alles verbaut ist kann man einfach das Display am Drucker abkoppeln, Verlängerung vom externen Halter einstecken und dann das Display in den externen Halter koppeln und so von außerhalb des Druckergehäuses alles Steuern.
Zu den verlinkten Bauteilen ganz unten braucht Ihr dann noch etwas Litze für den Schutzleiter, vier Kabelschuhe für M3 sowie M3 Schrauben und Muttern.
Noch dabei ist eine Kabeldurchführung für das Flachband Verlängerungskabel inkl. Frässchablone. Hiermit könnt Ihr in eine 9mm starke Platte an der Kante die passende Aussparung mit der Oberfräse einbringen (Fräser 6mm und Fräshülse 16mm).
Gedruckt auf einem Prusa MK4 in PETG, im Profil 0,2mm Structural mit 4 Perimetern, 25% Infill und Stützmaterial auf dem Druckbett.
Die Modelle sind in den Daten zum Drucken bereits richtig ausgerichtet.

Here is a model set to quickly disconnect the XLCD display of the Prusa MK4 and MK4S from the printer or from the printer and use it outside the printer housing.
I made all the cables myself to keep the original cables.
In the pictures you can see how I assembled everything. The protective conductor has contact via the Sub-D housing.
One wire of the 25-pin ribbon cable remains unused and can be separated after the Sub-D connector has been pressed together. I did the pressing in a normal vice. In order to lay the ribbon cable neatly on the display holder, I divided it into 4 strands, as it is very tight there.
Once everything is installed, you can simply disconnect the display from the printer, plug in the extension from the external holder and then connect the display to the external holder and control everything from outside the printer housing.
For the linked components at the bottom, you will need some wire for the protective conductor, four cable lugs for M3 and M3 screws and nuts.
Also included is a cable feedthrough for the flat ribbon extension cable including a milling template. This allows you to make the appropriate recess in the edge of a 9mm thick plate using the router (6mm cutter and 16mm milling sleeve).
Printed on a Prusa MK4 in PETG, in 0.2mm structural profile with 4 perimeters, 25% infill and support material on the print bed.
The models are already correctly aligned in the data for printing.
