brings the Dell E74XX up to monitor height.
I'm sure it would work for others as well.
I used 3/8" wood dowels to complete this nifty laptop riser. (cut to roughly 9 ¾" - so that the back lands between all the plug ports -see photo) you'll need four of them.
I also printed it with 4 walls and 0 top and bottom infill. i think it looks really cool with the gyroid infill :P (i've uploaded my .gcode as well)
I did have to ream the holes out with a bit by hand (don't use a drill you'll be sad - too aggressive)
I also found some square rubber feet that i used to keep it from slipping. they were about 12mm. So that's whats recessed in the bottom. but i bet some round ones would work just as well :D - if you need something else, I've included the .f3d file. (side note: printed plastics have a pretty smooth surface finish, to increase the adhesives ability to do its job, i recommend sanding the recess a bit and then cleaning off the dust to get a viable, long lasting stick.)
enjoy!
