I'm a cheap guy when it comes to plastic tools. So 8-20$ is a bit too much for me.

So here is my “brand,” Vura (one of the Croatian words for a watch).

A cheap dial holder for storage you can print.

Print settings:

The TPU part is printed with 98A TPU in 0.1 layer height (you can experiment with a different Shore Hardness)

The bottom part was printed in Wood PLA at 0.2 layer height

And the Lid ( Ive used the 0.2 tolerance version ) is printed in Galaxy PLA at 0.2 layer height

(The Lid has multiple tolerances in case your printer has a slight offset in print quality.)

Assembly:

For the assembly process, you will need to be patient, as the TPU disc is a bit tricky to get in at first. But you will get it in eventually. Try to bend it in the groove as in the pictures.

Use:

When you want to use the case, you can either put the dial on the lid, setting it on the pinion and closing, or just center the dial on the TPU part and put the lid on.

When opening the case, the lid has 3 recesses for easier opening at the ends of the logo (V as watch hands, the center point to the recess, and the hands also).
