Nextruder Silicone Sock Puller for MK4S and MK3.9S

The new cooling duct on the MK4S makes it very difficult to remove the silicone sock, since access to the top of the heat block is obstructed.

This simple tool is designed to hook the silicone sock, so it can be pulled downward and removed, without lowering the nozzle or heat block!  This makes it easy to replace the sock or remove it so the Accelerometer accessory can be used.

I find the best location to “hook” the sock is at the Left Rear corner of the heat block (as looking towards the printer).  Swinging the “fan_door-cover” open provides better visibility. Just hook the back corner of the sock, as shown in the pictures, and gently pull downward.

** Updated 2024-Nov-3:  Added version with a slightly with larger handle portion, for anyone who finds the original a bit too small for their fingers.
