Pretty self-explanatory. Print one base and one nut in the default STL orientations (flat for the nut and on the side for the base). This will give the best strength and will require no supports.

Assemble base to nut with one M6 x 20mm hex bolt and nut. You can play with the orientation of the M6 nut and/or bolt to insure that it is "tight" when the holder's nut is in the down/locked position.

Designed to use a pair of 1-1/4" pocket hole screws for mounting, though obviously any similar flat-bottom screw will do.

I suggest ABS, PETG, or other more structurally sound filament. I printed these with PETG using a 4mm nozzle at 0.28mm layer height and 3 walls, but the original was printed with a 6mm nozzle, which is probably a better choice if you have one.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

This is a minor tweak of BlindMaker's track saw guide rail holder, resized to fit a Milescraft Track Saw Guide rail. I left it just a touch larger than I needed to allow for different sized guide strips, depending on your circular saw.
