This is a complete replacement for the (awful) insert that came with the Teotihuacan Deluxe Master Set board game. Key features:
- One component tray per player with lid. Has holes for optional 4mm x 2mm magnets (I find the lids stay on quite securely without the magnets). Two lid files are provided: one with decorative art, but if it proves difficult to print, a plain lid is also provided. Choose one.
- Two resource trays, one for each side of the table.
- All bins/trays have curved sides for easier grabbing of game pieces.
- Organized reminder tile tray for tech and orange temple reminder tiles (please sort the tiles by number when inserting, for easier retrieval).
- Quick-setup tray for wooden tech tiles, royal tiles (A/B/C separated), mansion ownership tiles, temple bonus tiles, special masks, buildings, and miscellaneous pieces.
- Tray for 3 types of cards, priests/priestesses, and altar tiles.
- Separate tray for all solo components.
- All trays have alignment indicators on the edge to help with putting away (e.g. the player trays and reminder tiles tray have triangles on one side, so they go facing each other).
Important notes:
- I did not sleeve my cards. I added some extra room in the card tray, but you should measure the slots before printing if you use sleeved cards. If adjustments are needed, leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.
- The inside of my game box measured 285mm x 285mm, so I designed this insert with dimensions of 280mm x 280mm to leave a little wiggle room. However, my game box was assembled poorly, and the side walls are warped significantly, making it difficult to slide the insert into my box. Hopefully your box is put together better.
- Apart from the player trays, nothing has lids. This means vertical storage might be an issue, mainly for the resource trays. It may be possible to create a lid for the resource trays… let me know in the comments if you need this.
- This insert supports the 5th Player Expansion. If you don't have this, you'll need to print a 5th Player Tray or else things won't fit correctly.
