Double WaveShare 7.5" e-Paper case - symmetrical borders
I am using my "WaveShare 7.5" e-Paper case - symmetrical borders" for 2 years in several projects now, but some of them just would look better in my eyes if they were in 1 display case instead of 2, because I use them mostly together…
So i decided to create this “Double WaveShare 7.5" e-Paper case which also has symmetrical borders and is based on the 1 display variant, because it made a good job so far.

Some improvements are included compared to the previous 1 display model:
The Waveshare connector is no longer held in place by the 4 press fit rings, because I lost some of them over time. The adapter is now held in place by 4 M3x6 screws.
The lid is now screwed to the front part to make a permanent connection with M3x10 screws, which makes the case more stable in general.
The 4 optional “WallDistanceFoots” can be attached from the lid using M3x10 screws.
On the bottom there are 2 connector holes for a USB-C press in connector to charge the batteries or directly power both ESP32 boards without opening the case or add 2 chargers to the 2 ESP32 boards. See details below.
The displays and ESP32 are still separate to use them for different projects in future.
The lid presses the 2 inside parts additionally towards the front part.
The lid still has big cutouts to be able to reach the RESET button of the ESP32 boards or to put a programming cable in them without opening the case again.
4x M3x6 screws for the WaveShare connector adapter
Up to 24x M3x10 screws for the lid and WillDistanceFoots
Wiring:
The + and - wire was connected to 2 old Micro-USB cables that were cut with 2 Wago clamps to use the Mikro-USB port of the ESP32 to use the charger of the ESP32:
Printing instructions:
