I noticed resin was splashing onto the leadscrew of my printer, contaminating the grease and eventually causing missteps.
This is a simple telescopic cover that fits over the screw and attaches with a dab of CA glue to the base of the unit at one end, and the underside of the anti-backlash nut on the other. It can expand to the maximum build height and contract down to the home position.
This is designed for the Anycubic Photon Mono 2, but could be rescaled to fit others.
Edited to add an extra section for max. Build height plus final lift.
The tube walls are very thin and will absorb alcohol within minutes, swelling up. Once this has happened it is largely irrecoverable.
I got the best results with AA x16, no image blur, grey level 0, slightly overexposed and heated resin.
