No supports needed. Recommended to be printed in PETG or ABS for thermals. 

Requires 4 m3 bolts to attach. Maybe some super glue between the parts if you want the extra hold.

I printed the top part with fuzzy skin to give it a bit of visual flavor.

I liked the two-part design of the original model, but I wanted a base that was a bit squatter and wider. The drink holder in our car, also, doesn't friction hold cups in place. To make it a bit more stable, I added voids on the base so that ballast weight could be added. I used eight (8) 1/2in nuts as my weight, but other options are obviously available.
