Description

PDF

I originally designed this simple tray to keep track of board game components (counters, cubes, meeples, etc.), but it works nicely for temporary storage of any kind of small components. I used a bunch of them to keep track of the components when assembling my Prusa MK4S, for instance.

I usually print it in vase mode, as a way of using up the last few meters of a spool of filament, but if you want to print several at the same time, here's how:

  • 0% infill.
  • 1 outer wall.
  • 0 top solid infill layers.
  • The same number of bottom solid infill layers that you usually use.

Works well when scaled, I frequently print it in 150%.

Update:

Additional files added after recreating the tray in Ondsel ES.

  • A new export of the vase mode version (token_tray_vase_mode.stl)
  • A STEP version of the vase mode tray. (token_tray_vase_mode.step)
  • A hollowed-out version with 0.45mm wall thickness. Should print similarly to the slicer setting trick listed above (not tested). (token_tray_0.45mm.stl)
  • The FreeCAD project file used to create the other new files. (token_tray_0.45mm.fcstd)
