I wanted to mount the Processing Unit (PU) on the wall near the ceiling, so I could run the headset cables across the ceiling and down. I started by mounting the PU to the wall with 3M Command Strips, but I knew I would want to take the VR rig with me at times, so I designed and printed this holder to make that easy.
It is intended for the PU unit to sit vertically, so you can mount it via either side or from the bottom, sitting on something. I used 3M Command Strips to eliminate the possibility of damage to surfaces.
Design has opening in the rear for airflow from the PU's built-in fan, as well as a slot in the front to keep the light and Sony logo visible.
UPDATE Nov 12 '17 - Uploaded a model with holes for screw mounting on both sides and the bottom. 3M Command strips weren't up to the task...
