63mm / 2½" automated ball valve gate

Automatic blast gates, using them to collect wood chips / dust. 

63mm / 2½" printed ball valve

MG996 motor controls the valve, all MG996 motors are connected to a smart IOT device, I control the motors via Home Assistant.

For one blast gate you'll need to print:

2 x Outer case
1 x Rotator
1 x Bearing insert (the elongated part should be push in on top of the smaller part, might need to sand the edges)
2 x Flange seal

1 x Servo holder (it fits in snugly, but I used CA glue to secure MG996 to the holder itself)
1 x Bracket (not necessary if you're not securing this to a wall)
