This is a remix of cray_io's model of the SNES Jr cartridge slot tray, with the region locking tabs removed to allow Super Famicom cartridges to be played on an NTSC-U SNES. The model has been updated for support-free printability, as well as to more closely match the style of the original cartridge slot tray. A second version without the printability improvements is also included which matches the original part even more closely, but will require supports.
An optional second-pass print model has been provided to allow printing the hold-down standoffs onto the bottom of the tray. A manual pause command will need to be inserted into the gcode, either by your slicer or by hand in a text editor, to allow placing the main model onto the stand prior to printing the actual standoffs. Multiple versions of the model are provided with slightly different height tolerances. If you attempt to print the standoffs and they print too high in the air, leaving a gap, stop the print, remove any partially adhered material, and use one of the negative offset versions instead (based on the amount of gap). If the nozzle is too low and collides with the main model, use a positive offset.
The author remixed this model.
Modified the screw mount tabs to more closely match the original, as well as improved printability. Added an optional 2-part print jig to add the original hold-down standoffs to the bottom of the main print.
This is a remix of https://www.printables.com/model/643284-snes-jr-region-free-tray but I'm not able to link it as a remix due to the original license disallowing derivatives. I've received a license exemption from the original author to post this remix.
