These are 5° pint pub rails. These rail files are intended to be sent in to services like JLC3dp or pcbway to be machined out of aluminum. You could also use them for mock up in cad to design other parts around.

I have had these rails machined and built a fully cutsom vesc pint x on them and they worked out perfect for me and my custom designed and printed battery and controller housings (those files coming soon as well.

these rails are modeled off the stock pint rails I modeled a while back so all the holes and threads are still all in the same stock locations and should function just fine with stock boxes and hardware.

The included files are the left and right rail step file as well as a pdf layout out which holes get what thread pitch. I used JLC3dp to machine mine and in 6061 aluminum bead blasted and anodized the price was around 180$ for a set. Your pricing may or may not differ depending on the parameters you select or if you decide to do them in 7075 aluminum. The 6061 is very soft so you do need to take caution when attaching your footpads and fender/delete or you will strip the threads.

Step files are provided so you can alter remix and or produce these if you like however please credit me and my design if you do so.

update 10/28/24 I’m adding a revision 2, this revision of the rails has a bigger angle on the outer face which allows them to line up better with stock pads and halos at the top of the rails.  This extra “beef” makes the rails a bit stronger and alignment with stock and halo footpads better but also adds costs about 220ish now out of 7075. Also i do highly recommend you get these machined from 7075 unless they are expressly being made for a kids board or something.

I am in no way responsible if these rails don’t work out for you or if you decide to produce them and sell them commercially and are sued for patent infringement, while TFL does not have a 5° pint rail they may still hold a patent for W style rails In general agin not my responsibility these are intended to be provided and produced for personal use.

Have fun and FFM!
