This is the Tatra logo and installation jig.
To stick it correctly, straight, with the right spacing can be a challenge.

In order to make the application of gluing the letters successful, I have designed this simple tool.

Preparation:
Mark the spot on the cabin where you’ll install the lettering, so you can place the letters accurately when gluing them on.

Procedure:
* after printing the letters, paint them in the correct color if necessary
* put the letters in the instalation-jig-front
* secure the letters in place by putting instalation-jig-back on it from back side
* on the front side of the instalation-jig-front, stick some adhesive tape over, tape have to touch the letters. this will keep the letters in their positions in the jig
* remove the instalation-jig-back from the back side
* apply an adhesive layer to the letters. small piece of glue is good
* place the installation-jig on the cabin, where the lettering should be (the template has a line in the middle, it will help you with the centering)
* press the letters gradually from the front side with your finger so that they stick to the cabin
* as soon as the letters on the cabin hold, tear off the auxiliary tape from the front side and remove the instalation-jig
* done

The lettering is proportionally identical to the original Tatra inscription used by the manufacturer at the Tatra Dakar race in 1986 and is in 1:12 scale.

STEP and STL files provided, you can easily enlarge, remix.

I hope you find it useful. Happy printing ;)

You can aply this on model or all Tatra mdodels in 1:12 scale:
