Auxiliary cooling fans for V0!

Keeps a nice thin sheet of air flowing just below the nozzle. Can be used to heat up chamber when bed is high (door and tophat closed), or to cool down the bed (door and tophat open).

With the arctic fans I'm using, it runs ehough at 30% to cool down PLA, at 20% barely hearable.

No need to modify anything in your voron, no need to preload any nut - it is clip (and screw) in place.

It is handy for printing low glass transition temperature materials, like PLA

Works best when tophat and front door are open

parts required:

  • 4x 4028 fan (I use arctic 12k)
  • 4x M3x10 bolt
  • 16x M3x35 bolt
  • 20x M3 heatset insert
  • 12V buck converter (either connect enable pin to a spare mainboard port, or the converter itself to spare HE port)
  • fan splitter (I have DIY one) to connect 12V, GND to buck converter, and control pin to spare mainboard fan port
