Kobalt Lowes Storage Crate - Full Size

These durable and stackable Kobalt storage crates are readily available from Lowes hardware store or other online sellers such as Amazon. I purchased mine for $17ea. 

Please note:
This model is provided primarily for rough dimensional reference only - not for 3d printing - due to size and large overhangs.
My digital calipers ran out of battery so there is 1mm to 5mm error in the measurements.

These crates are useful for storage and organization, and also can be used for many projects.
For example, i plan to use several of these to contain a complete solar electric generator system - which is why i created this 3D model.

This here model is full-size, and is not designed for 3d printing. 
I do plan to upload a second version that is scaled down, and minimal overhangs so it could be easily 3d printed, i think it would be cool to have a small one with a lid and other features.

I have included the .STL file, .3MF and also the .STEP file. 
I often include the .step file format which is much easier to modify features and dimensions in CAD software.

Don't print this you will get a lot of spaghetti unless you add supports…
