Toyota Tacoma T-Force Wheel Center Caps

Overview:

This is a center cap designed to replace the basic Toyota “T” logo with a sleeker Toyota T-Force logo. It is designed to fit a 3rd generation Toyota Tacoma SR5 with the SX package black wheels, so consider test printing one single color center cap to see if it fits your truck, if you're unsure. I tried to match the curve of the removable wheel cap that the print snaps into as closely as possible.

Printing:

I recommend printing this in a material like PETG or ABS/ASA for temperature resistance and longevity outdoors. I did experience some multicolor purging problems with PETG but the center caps have lasted for months through multiple pressure washes in the summer so far. If you want to use PLA, it will probably work too, just be prepared for a shorter lifespan.

Use variable layer height to minimize the layer "stepping". Use support and print in the vertical orientation as set up in the provided profile (preserves the slight curvature of the model).

Installation:

To install this part, remove the black plastic piece in the center of the wheel (blue circle) by pulling directly away from the wheel (blue arrow).

Pop out the chrome Toyota emblem by pushing the legs back through the slots. Press in these center caps and remount the black plastic piece onto the wheel by pressing it into the center, opposite of before.
