4x5 Graflok compatible Groundglass Holder

This is my version of the Vega Groundglass Holder.

I started by makig a Copy of the Original GroundGlass in FreeCad.

After that I started with adding features:

• Grooves for Graflok
• Grooves of the ground glass for masks
• A notch to prevent it from slipping while Attached to the Camera.

Currently i only have two masks for the Holder:

• 6 x 9cm (for Instax with Offset)
• 6 x 7cm (for film Backs)
• 6 x 6cm (for film Backs)
• 6 x 12cm (for film Backs)
• 6 x 9cm (for film Backs)

The masks are thin and can be bend to fit into the grooves. After putting them in, they should be flush with the Ground Glass.

The masks have the size of 104.9 x 121.9cm.

I Intend to add more Masks and making Framing guides using some rules like rule of thirds or Fibonacci sequence.

I Printed mine in PLA+. With following strength settings:

• Wall loops 4
• TopShell 4
• bottom shell 4
• infill 15%

BoM:

• 4x m3 Heatset inserts ( I used Voron compatible Heatset inserts) (Only if Heatset Insert version is used)
• 3x m3x8 shcs
• Glue for notch
• Ground Glass

Assembly:

1. insert heatset inserts into frame. Two for Holder, Two for Groundglasssprings (only for heatset insert version)
2. glue in the Notch at the Bottom.
3. put in ground glass (mat side down)
4. screw down the Groundglass using two m3x8 Screws and the Springs
5. attach the Handle for easier holding.
6. done

I based my design heavely on the original Groundglass Holder of the Vega Camera.
I added some grooves for Graflok compatible back standards. This makes it easier to Attach or remove it if 120 Filmbacks are used. Further I added two Grooves to insert masks for different framing.
I added a little notch at the bottom.
