Gridfinity Sewing Thread Holder

Sewing thread holder for Gridfinity system. Based on a 2x3 bin with 1u height, it has a total of 18 insertion points for the corresponding pin to enable mix & match storage of 6 large diameter spools, 12 small diameter spools, or a combination of both.

Taller pins accommodate storing the machine bobbin with the matching thread spool to remove guesswork. Pin can easily be scaled in your slicer along the length axis if a different size is desired.

Pin is a snug fit in the base, but can be removed for re-configuration if desired. For a more permanent installation, use a small amount of super glue or hot glue to secure the pin.

1. Created a 2x3 Gridfinity base with multiple pin locations to support different combinations of thread spool sizes
2. Extended pin to 75mm to support taller spools and the corresponding machine bobbin on the same pin
