This is a mount for the M4P in the Switchwire. It's REALLY tight. You need 90º USB adapters to use the USB ports on the M4P, but this blocks the Ethernet port.

Installation:

I also added a mount for an 8010 fan to cool the steppers, this is optional. I use an ID cooling 8010 fan with 12V, you get these on Ali very cheap and they are very quiet. An RGB version of this fan does exist :D Combine with a compact buck converter. The fan grill is from here: https://www.printables.com/model/599418-meanwell-ls350-cover-for-80mm-fan/files

For the fan you need an 80mm drill to cut the hole in the bottom panel.

To connect the U2C, use the vertical USB port on the M4P and a 10cm USB-A to USB-C cable.

Fan mount needs to be printed with supports!

  • 3x M3x25 screws for the fan adapter
  • 4x M3x10-12 for the mainboard (only 1x if using the fan adapter)
  • 4x standard heatset insert (7x if using the fan adapter)
  • 3x M3x12 when using the fan adapter
  • Some felt gliders for chairs, I added them on top of the fan corners to prevent the fan from touching the bottom panel
