This is a folding utility blade knife.  It opens and closes like a butterfly knife. It can hold 2 extra blades, 1 in each wing. PLEASE be careful with it; this is a plastic 3d printed knife, so it is only to be used for light-duty applications. Obviously it won't hold up like a metal knife.  That being said, it is pretty durable.  I've been carrying it around for a month now and haven't had any issues.

I have provided STEP and FUSION360 files so you can change tolerances if you need to. The STLs I have provided work perfectly for me using Bambulabs PLA. Other filaments may shrink more/less and require different tolerances. Or your printer may have different tolerances as well.

It will require 6 - 6mmX2mm magnets.  Again, not all magnets measure the same, so you may need to tweak the model to fit your magnets.  (The photos show only one magnet on the wing, but I have switched it to two smaller ones for more strength).  Make sure you get the polarity of your magnets right!!!!  Take your time and think it through!

Modify and print so your tolerances are really tight on the pivot point - you should be able to manually put it together, but with some effort.  The tighter the fit, the stronger it will be.  Use super glue to keep everything together.

I am going to allow remixes, but please link to my original model and give me credit.  I may add some updated mods in the future (keychain loop and belt clip).

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS:

0.2 layer height.

100% infill with 3 walls.

38 degree infill direction (not critical, but will give smoother edges on knife holder part)
