Bicycle pump wall holder

A wall mounted holder for an SKS Rennkompressor bicycle pump. The pump is 30 mm in diameter and the holder clips on nicely.

It was printed using add:north OBC Polyethylene filament which is a flexible but sturdy filament that is also fatigue resistant. For this reason, the gripping claw comes out quite a bit and covers 270 degrees around the pump for increased stability. If printed in a stiffer plastic, this claw angle needs to be reduced significantly (with PLA, a suitable value seemed to be around 220 to 240 degrees).

The slicer settings for OBC Polyethylene were four walls with 1.2 mm thick top and bottom shells, 25% honeycomb infill and ironing on the top part. A brim was required or it would come off the engineering plate, even when using Magigoo PP glue at 100C.

The screw holes are suitable for 5 mm screws with recesses for 10 mm sized heads. The rear has a slight elliptic curve to it, ensuring the model sits flush against the wall even if pulled (a bit) sideways.

The freecad model is parametric and it should be easy enough to adapt for other diameters and claw angles.
