Recently, I found a wonderful bookmark inspired by the Legend of Zelda. After showing it off to a friend, they asked if I could make a bookmark relating to Monster Hunter, since we've both enjoyed the series for years. I was surprised to see nobody had made files for the weapon icons yet, and so this led to a spiral of learning how to use Inkscape for creating SVGs and make a lot more models than I had originally intended to!

That brings us to now - You'll find a file for every weapon, as well as four for some common items (green herb, lifepowder, well-done steak, and a mega potion!), and you can use these to create a custom bookmark of your favorite weapons by positioning them inside your preferred frame before merging. These are the files labeled "[X] for decoration" in the bookmarks section. They make require some rotation and resizing, as the horizontal and vertical filigree have different requirements for each weapon.

I've included some example custom bookmarks: ‘Gunners Guild’, ‘Technical Weapons’, ‘KO’, and ‘Classic Shields’. These aren't intended to cover everyone's three favorites, but check them out for an idea of where to start, or if they're perfect for you, print it straight away!

Bookmark Notes - My suggestion is to aim for a total thickness of 1mm printed at 0.2mm layers, with 0.4mm for the solid backing to help with durability and make for ease of printing, then 0.6mm for the detail of the icons. Feel free to experiment, as the model I was inspired by went for a total thickness of 0.3mm. Keep in mind that the STLs aren't necessarily connected, so the backing is important! SVGs are included if you want to really mess with things, though the sizing on these is a bit all over the place.

In addition to the things for bookmarks, I've included a 3mm thick ‘token’ style STL for each of them, as well as a keychain of the same size (and a small keyring attachment, so if you prefer a different place to attach it, you can pick a different spot on one of the tokens). Note that the SnS and IG are not connected. If people want a connected one, I can upload an additional file where some of the background connection will hold them together.

Keychain Notes - These are all sized to be approximately 45mm in the X direction. If this is size doesn't work for you, make sure to resize the token STL and attach a new keyring for major changes, as it may not fit keys properly past 5% variation or so.

As with all other projects, please post feedback and makes if you decide to print! Constructive criticism is welcome, as I'd love to keep learning more about this process.

Please note that these icons and files are not officially endorsed by Capcom, and as such, are not permitted for commercial use.
