Chips go everywhere, this is to help with cleanup.
I use the slot cleaner with the bottom of a brush as shown.
Will need to print with supports, tpu is not so good at support. Careful when trimming the end piece to make it fit. Fitment is not critical.
The bed is 600mm in width - I do not have a printer that size, so have various sizes to make up the length. This hopefully will cater for the vise theoretically in the middle where you just add on from the vise side.
Print quality is not an issue - hot chips, abrasive cleaning action.
12/10/2024 Added a z axis 'scraper' - If you don't have a z axis way cover - remove the 2 screws holding the plate down and check your bakelite blocks - its possible chips may be stuck there. Hopefully this may help prevent that.
09/12/2024 Added a vacuum cleaner nozzle for cleaning out the slots - od is 33mm. Easy to change the step file for different widths.
