MEAN WELL RS-150-5_cover

A safety cover for a MEAN WELL RS-150-5 Enclosed 130W 5V 26A Power Supply with 6 x 5.5/2.1 female barrel connectors and I wanted to run multiple Bitaxe Bitcoin solo miners with a powersupply which you can tweak the voltage on.  I settled on a  ‘MEAN WELL RS-150-5’ which seems to be well regarded. I could not find a suitable cover that protects you from the high voltage terminals so I decided to design one using Tinkercad.  It runs quite hot so I gave it feet for better air circulation/cooling.  After testing with 4 then 5 units I decided 6 bitaxes will probably run ok although I haven’t tested it with 6 yet because I ran out of cables.  Hence there are 6 outlets.

The bridges across the opening for the lid come out best for me if I enable supports.  

28-9-2024 added v2 parts.  Srews holes for m3x4mm countersunk screws, lid has size has been altered, internal stops now have slanted sides on the downside to eliminate the brigde layers.   Original files have been deleted.

3/10/2024 - added a cover part with no ports so you can easily customise the interface for different power entry modules and the position and number of output ports using negative parts in your slicer.

I use a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, Bambu PETG Basic filament .2mm, 3 walls.

with 5 ports.  A more appropriate number to run Bitaxe Supras.  The PSU will possibly only run 4 x Bitaxe gammas when OCed. The port holes are 11mm to fit these all metal sockets which are easier to install.
