I needed somewhere to put my Voron Clicky-Clack Door when I took it off to print materials like PLA, what better way than attached to the printer?
This is based off the latch model from the Clicky-Clack door as I liked the design of the 2020 mount on it. This would suit any printer using 2020 extrusions. It is designed to clear the Annex panel latches and sufficient clearance for the hinges. Each holder is mounted using 2 x M3 roll-in nuts and 2 x M3x16 SHCS.
There are two files, DoorHolder and DoorHolderStopper. You will need at least two (2) of the DoorHolders, one top and bottom. DoorHolderStopper just has a plate over the end to stop the door pushing all the way to the rear of the printer. You can either print additional DoorHolders or have a DoorHolderStopper on top and/or bottom. DoorHolderStopper can be mirrored to fit in another orientation.
I have these on a 300 cubed Trident with 3mm panels and use one DoorHolder top and bottom front and one DoorHolderStopper on the bottom rear. A larger size printer may need an additional DoorHolder in the middle to support the door.
The author remixed this model.
Remix of the 2020 latch mounting mechanism, mainly the 2020 fitment.
