A Medieval looking door i designed to see if i like painting :).
There are some more “door” examples available to download, i used these to inspire me.
But.. i found the “to realistic” stones and planks a hastle to print with to many visible layer lines or to much support required.
As this is for my first paintjob.. i just wanted to paint and i prefere to not post-process like sanding.
Smooth is the key for me :D
This door should be a lot easier to print as the back and the front facing sides are flat.
Printed on 0.2mm maximum layerheight, and 0.1mm minimum. (used with adaptive layering for a better detailed result).
No supports required!
I used “Ironing” to get the front facing sides even more flat/smooth!
