Cat door - manually closable

This is a simple manually closable cat door for a 39mm thick door. 

The store bought cat doors had lockable flaps, but since our cat is usually free to roam the entire house, only on rare occasions we close off one room to the cat. This means the swinging door flaps where mostly useless and noisy. 

This model provide an easy path for your cat, while hiding the insides of the door and lets you close the door by manually sliding the “flap”-piece in place.

Door width

The model is designed to fit a door with 39mm thickness and for that I used 45mm M3 screws and nuts. It should be pretty straight forward to use the cut tool in your slicer of choice to shorten the inner part to fit thinner doors.

Printing

If printed with the flat sides against the printbed, no supports are needed.

The example was printed with .4mm nozzel, .2mm layer height in white PET-G and transparent ABS for the door.
