I needed to label boxes with numbers, which change every week. I found the House Number Set by asteven5, yet it was too big and it needed holes on the boxes to be stuck properly, which I did not want to do. The number tiles he had done though were very nice so I scaled them down to 15mm x 20mm (same thickness) and created a holder for them that fir them in this new size that could fit without modifications nor adhesive to the boxes, so I could just remove them every week and change the numbers.
I added a file with numbers and one without. I suggest printing separately so you can change the colour during the print, which makes the numbers so much visible.
The sign holds snug enough not to fall yet is easy to pull off. The tiles also fit snug enough to be slide in from the bottom side and not to fall down.
Numbers 4 and 7 I had to cut 1mm on each side for them to fit properly. Other than that I have so far not identified any issues.
The print can be done without any support and flat. I used PETG for extra flexibility (not really required in the end though) and I think 30% infill and 7 layers was an overkill, though the layers I had just forgotten to change and went on with it, considering the small size.
Just to close, thanks again asteven5: very neat tiles Indeed!
