Passthrough Planters

Passthrough illusions are really cool, and a fun way to add multiple colors to many items. In this case, I applied the concept to some planters, and I am really happy with the results!

There are two parts to this, the outer passthrough covers, and the inner planter. The covers can all be swapped out with each other, letting you change the design and color combinations easily. The planters are of a size that they can also function well as pen holders. (If you don't like the direction the spiral goes, mirroring both parts in your slicer will sort that out.)

Print Settings

• Material - PLA, PETG, or other
• Layer Height - 0.2mm
• Perimeter/Wall Count - 2 (To ensure watertightness, use 3 on the planter)
• Infill - 15% Honeycomb
• Top/Bottom Fill Pattern - Concentric (I like the way it looks)
