A Stronger Lacky Box. I designed an Ikea lack box that is stronger and more flexible. All panels come off and on for easier access to the printer. Making the enclosure a better fit for the MK4 with an MMU3.

Parts you will need

  • 2 Lacky tables
  • 3 400mm x 400mm acrylic panels
  • 2 200mm x 400mm acrylic panels
  • 50 3m nuts
  • 14 m3 10mm screws
  • 8 m3 20mm screws
  • 20 magnets 5mm x 20mm x 2mm
  • 30+ 3m heated inserts
  • ½" Wood screws

Please use PETG for a heat-resistant filament. The part can be printed on an MK4 bed size. I recommend a 10% infill and expect to print supports.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I have redesigned the frame, spool holder, buffer holder, and doors. Modified the hinges for the lid and doors.
