This knob is for a dado jig that I'm building. It allows clamping of the two parallel boards that guide the router. It uses a 5/16" carriage bolt and nut. the nut is pressed into the cavity. It should be tight as is but can be glued if needed. I used PETG for my knob.
I've also added a design for a larger knob that I made for my metal bandsaw tension control. It uses a 10mm hex head bolt.
These two knobs can be scaled to fit whatever size bolt or nut you need. I scaled the 10mm version down to work with the 5/16" bolt. I then changed the hole diameter.
