I recently bought a planer that didn't come with any sort of shroud to hook up to a vacuum to keep the dust and wood chip mess to a minimum.
I have split the long parts in half so that they would fit on a normal printer bed size.
I printed this part in ABS for strength, but ASA would suffice. I probably would not recommend PLA since its too weak for something like this.
you can swap out the vacuum attachment for one that is sized for you, mine was designed for a 31.2mm(1-1/4inch) vacuum attachment. 33.7mm is the outer diameter of the attachment, so if your attachment has that other dimension on the shroud side it should fit..
For gluing the parts together SA super glue would work, but two part epoxy would be best.
Appreciate any feed back, Happy Wood Working!
