Update, check out V2 here :

Proudly presenting the hand powered can chiller.
Beside this device you need a container with a layer of ice on wich the can is placed.
How to use, place can on ice, let it melt a little groove, than the place wheel on the can, spin the can by turning handcrank like 2-3 times a second. 2 minutes is probably enough, but go for 3 if you need it real cold.
See pictures for assembly, use nuts/washers etc to create enough clearance between the parts.
You need some bearrings, 8mm threaded rod and some 8mm washers and nuts
Print parts with 4 walls, you need some strength at the threaded sections.
You need a big o-ring to go around the drive wheel, the one i used is 47.7/54.7 ID/OD with a section size of 3.5 mm. If you cannot source this o-ring maybe use some rubber bands or change the design. If you change the design, try not to go smaller on the diameter of the wheel as that reduces the can spinning speed.
I printed shims/fitting rings to make sure the bearrings are snug in the housing and used ca glue to hold the bearrings and shims in the rest of the unit. You need 2 outer shims and 4 inner shims.
Bearrings i used are 32*12*10mm, but use whatever you have or can source, design your own shims to get a nice fit.
Step files are included to adapt the design.
