Compliant Magnetic Mount for Peak Design Mobile SlimLink (2024)

An all-new version of my magnetic/compliant printable SlimLink mount for Peak Design's Mobile Case, with a ¼-20 thread adapter for mating with a variety of other accessories. I also include a version without any mounting features on the outside, for remix purposes.

Versus my original design, this has an improved complaint mechanism and better compatibility with recent magnet arrangements. It also is more compact, and – being flat on the outside face – prints without supports.

Requires QTY 8 of 6mm x 3mm refrigerator magnets and a pause at the appropriate layer to embed them in the print.

Requires Peak Design's Mobile Everyday case or Universal Adapter for SlimLink compatibility.

My successful prints were are configured as:
- PETG
- 0.2mm layers
- 4 perimeters
- 20% gyroid infill
- No supports
- printed with the flat side down on the plate

A STEP-format version is posted for remix purposes; this does not include the ¼-20 or crosshair keyway/index patterns.
