This is my personal solution for the Zerosolar CB Rev. 5 with CMT2300a that I bought for my Hoymiles inverter.

๐Ÿ”€ Differences Between the Models

An RJ45 socket and a bracket for the SN65HVD230 CAN bus transceiver have been added. This upgrade enables battery readout capabilities via CAN bus.

โš  Depending on your battery model (e.g. Polyntech, Pytes, etc.), the RJ45 pinout may vary, so be sure to check your deviceโ€™s manual before connecting!

The CAN bus is connected via a right-angle pin header neatly tucked under the ESP module. This was chosen as the most space-efficient and cleanest solution for internal wiring and ensures clear cable routing.
