I found that the stepper towers had to much flex and designed this angle bracket for it to suit my situation.

Modeled to use “Mercury One.1 Zero G Inside Frame Stepper towers” by mhunley123 from thingiverse. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5996645)

Requires:

1        m5 heatset insert

1        m5 bolt (minimum 50mm)

2-3   m5 t-nuts

2-3      m5x15mm bolts (for T-nuts)

1       m5 bolts (minimum 15mm) (extrusion end)

I printed in abs at 45% infill with 6 walls and 100% infill modifiers around mounting points. Used Bambu P1S 0.6 nozzle with auto tree supports.

BAMBU ABS TIP: If printing using ABS, preheat bed to 100c after homing and wait for it to heat the nozzle over 50c. In filament settings change “No cooling for the first” change to 100 layers

(Optional)I replaced the bolt in the stock angle bracket and used a screw to go through the frame an put a locknut on. It is not necessary to do it, I just wanted to do it. you can just use a T-nut instead. this requires:

1       m5x40mm (through extrusion and stock gusset) and 1 m5 lock nut
