I made this model to celebrate a hike I did recently (my first 14'er). Model is to scale, with 2:1 amplitude on vertical axis. You can change the date or any text on the bottom sign to your liking. I used QGIS and the DEMto3D plugin to create the landscaping for Pikes Peak and the surrounding area, then maps and image manipulation to overlay the trail and the water.

The display can be used as a stand, or you can superglue the model together and hang it on a wall using the negative space on the back of the sign.

This is designed as a multicolor print but could theoretically be converted to single-color, pausing at layers for the sign and making the mountain a single color (no trail or water).
