I created this little pumpkin in Blender by following Ryan King Art's Stylized Hand Painted Pumpkins video. Ryan did an excellent job creating this tutorial, I am fairly new to Blender and I was able to follow along no problem.
I printed my pumpkin with supports sitting flat on his bottom. Turns out, this is not the best orientation. It left a rough area around the bottom, which isn't a big deal because you don't see it. But it also left a flat ring near the top, which you can clearly see in the photo.
I still recommend using supports, but with the pumpkin tilted back a few degrees. Not so far that you need supports on the stem, about 30 degrees will do. Also, consider adding a 5 mm brim to support the second layer, which may have unsupported loops depending on orientation.
