Buzz Lightyear Head Piggybank - Minecraft Theme

“To Infinityyyyyyy and Beyond!”

If you play Minecraft you probably know you can use a custom skin for your character. Inspired by that idea, I made my first of many Minecraft character head in combination with my bank theme.

About the design:

This design is an upgraded version of my previous banks with the ability to assemble it without glue! Yay! Each colored piece connects to the main box via snaps and dovetail joints. This means you CAN print everything without a MMU or AMS.

As always with my banks, I designed it to print easily without supports.

I also added a box without the top in case you just want to use it as a box. On “top” of that, I included two different tops. One being a coin slot, and the other being a rounded oval hole. 

Assembly/printing instructions:

Assembly

• The “armour main” piece slides in from the bottom on the back side. This fit should be tight so you might have to push a little hard to get it in place.
• The “main face” piece has both snap points and dovetail joints. 
• Everything else clips and fits nicely into place. You can use the model pictures for reference on where things go.

How to print 

• 0.2mm layer height for everything for best results
• NO SUPPORTS NEEDED
• The eye stl can be used for both the white and blue parts
