ModBoard is a parametric guitar pedalboard designed utilizing 20-Series Aluminum Extrusions to provide full modularity and customizability.
Includes STEP files for options for Velcro Mounting as well as Compression Mounting (Definitely not as effective as Velcro, but the only other idea I have for a “one size fits all” solution).
Customizable Parameters:
- Extrusion Number - An odd number is recommended, otherwise bolts may not generate correctly
- Extrusion Length
- Extrusion Distance - Distance from the first extrusion to the last
- Angle - Typically 5° - 15°
Materials:
- 20-Series Aluminum Extrusion - Tapped and Threaded Ends
- M6x12 or M6x8 Bolts for the legs
- M5x6 or M5x8 Bolts for fixturing to the Extrusions
- 20 Series M5 T-Nuts
- Roughly 150g of filament
Note:
- The honeycomb cutout is the only thing that is not parametric in the design as it is purely stylistic and up to preference, if extending the board significantly past default, either move or disable the features in the timeline
- Files provided are f3d files (Fusion360) for the parametric design, STEP files for the standard assembly, and STL files for the standard assembly
