UPFRONT!
I created a Discord channel for my Thermal vision builds but will add a #meshtastic channel there as well in case you have questions or problems. Please remain to the meshtastic channel for all sort of questions as all the other channels are ONLY for my thermal builds!

Heltec fixed the “long message” and “Bluetooth disconnect” problem with a new hardware Revision, make sure that you order the updated version to avoid problems!

I got special permission from Gendemik to share my remix! I had to choose “Original, I made it” to publish the remix as I am not able to link to the original design as its license does not allow sharing and remixing.
AGAIN the BASE DESIGN IS NOT MY CREATION! I just got permission from Gendemik specifically for my REMIX that allows me to share it!!
Dont miss out to check their other creations and leave them a like for allowing me to share my remix with the world!: Gendemik | Printables.com
You can find the original design this remix is based of here: GDMK Heltec v2/v3 Diddy (Smallest case project) Meshtastic inspired by Gendemik | Download free STL model | Printables.com
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no manual/ how to/ guide for the upgrade, you have to know how to do this yourself!
The “ULTRA” variant of the DIDDY Remix is not meant for everyone but those with the technical knowledge and tools to build this! ( its an advanced nerve racking build with lots of wires on very little space!)
It adds a navigation switch for canned messages, notification LED light bar , vibra motor a BME environmental sensor and an external attachable GPS module, to the already existing buzzer from the Diddy remix original build.
The original build you can find here:

A few tipps:
print with supports from the print bed, all needed supports has been added to the file already.
Use epoxy to close up all open cavities on the external gps antenna. put some epoxy behind the pogo ping connector on the gps antenna then attach it to the main base so the still soft epoxy perfectly aligns both pogo pin connectors, I used a clamp and let it cure that way.
When you use epoxy to fixate the pogo pin connector on the inside of the base, insert the battery and check if it still fits! If you add to much epoxy you will have a hard time getting the battery in!
Use a side cutter to cut the pins on the magnetic pogo pin connectors as short as possible.
I used 0.3 wire but for this build I wish i had even thinner one.
I used quite a bit of uv hardening printer resin for all the components on the pcb I applied with a fine brush hardening it with an uv lamp and also fixed wires in place to take off stress when bending stuff in place.
I got rid of the JST GPS connector and directly wired the wires to the solder spots on the board.
Use the Ve_ 3V3 pin on the GPS connector for the GPS s VCC as it cuts power when gps is turned off with 3 button presses.
There is a “bug” when you start up the device with the gps enabled and there is no GPS connected there will be “hangs/ freezes” when going through the windows on the T114. This does not happen when you boot up with the gps attached, once it recognized it you can tripple press the prg button to deactivate it and take it off, it then wont have those freezes and hangs.
Use pliers to cut light bar at the end where your going to put the SMT LED, I used UV hardening resinn on this as well as its clear transparent and works perfectly to glue the led + wires to the Led bar.
