Resin printing is a smelly business. Anycubic Photon has for some very strange reason a 50mm fan inside the printing area that fans all the fumes out from the printer. This is really catastrophic so something has to be done.

I designed this active coal filter to use the original 50 mm fan. I use 4x2 mm active coal pellets. This design works great!

The filter is installed where the original fan was, so you can use the same screws. Only thing needed to buy if active coal.

Notes:

Use the setting you normally use. This part does not need to be very pretty so I used 0,05 mm layer height. 0,1 could be good also.

Post-Printing

Remove supports, clean in IPA and cure in UV. The parts should fit straight from the printer. If not, use sandpaper to make them fit.

How I Designed This

Designed in Fusion360, supports added with Pruse slicer and sliced with Chitubox.
